Our services include real-time fire alerts, farm boundary mapping, weather integration, and connection to local firefighting services.

User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our services, particularly when marking farm boundaries and providing contact information for emergency services.

Appropriate Use

You agree to use MAP DE FIRE only for legitimate wildfire management purposes and not to misuse emergency services or provide false fire reports.

Device and Internet Access

You are responsible for maintaining compatible devices and internet connectivity required to use our services effectively.

Service Limitations

No Guarantee of Fire Prevention

MAP DE FIRE is a monitoring and alert system. We do not guarantee the prevention of wildfires or the accuracy of all fire detection data. Users should maintain appropriate fire safety measures and insurance coverage.

Third-Party Data

Our services rely on third-party data sources including NASA FIRMS, weather services, and satellite imagery. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data.

Emergency Services

While we facilitate communication with emergency services, we are not responsible for their response times or actions. In case of immediate danger, contact emergency services directly.

Intellectual Property

The MAP DE FIRE application, including its design, functionality, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our software without explicit permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, MAP DE FIRE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from the use of our services.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also terminate your use of our services at any time by uninstalling the application.

Governing Law
